Daniel Mills is a direct kind of guy.
When he’s asked a question, he doesn’t skirt around the subject, he comes right to the point. I like that. These may be the shortest YabYum 7 answers we’ve ever run, but quite frankly, Daniel’s pictures speak for themselves.
His dedication to offering “public art, sustainability, urban living, historical awareness, and a sense of place” in Phoenix and Arizona at large has made him a favorite, not only here at YabYum, but to his fans all throughout this state and others. 1. Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Daniel Mills and I run Phoenix Taco, a Phoenix-based blog that focuses on art and street culture in the Valley and Arizona.
2. How did you get your start?
I started in August of 2010 when LA Taco, the original LA-based publication helped set me up with the necessary resources.
3. What inspires you?
I am inspired by forms of art that promote civic engagement.
