Algae & Tentacles might still be flying a bit under the radar, but here at YabYum we were super excited about the 2015 release of their first ever LP (after five years of making music under the moniker) through Lightning Records. And Algae & Tentacles did not disappoint. The album is an ominous dream tinged with moments of warming light. It has moments of drone, of dissonance, as well as psychedelia and pop.
