Who are you and are you in a band or do you perform solo? If in a band(s), what is the name of that band?

I am Maximiliano Ibarra and I am in a band called Beach Bummer.

What instrument(s) do you play?
I sing and play guitar in Beach Bummer but I also play drums, bass, and piano.
How long have you been making music? And what first drew you to your craft?
I have been making music for about two years now. It first started when me and my friend Jacob started a band in the summer of 2018.
What was your favorite show of all the shows you’ve ever played?

My favorite show I have ever played was at Trunk Space with 2000 Foot Turtle, Bummer Girl, and Blu Joy.

What would be your dream lineup/location?
My dream lineup would be Boy Pablo, Breakup Shoes, Bummer Girl, and Beach Bummer at the Crescent Ballroom.
What are you listening to during this period of social distancing?
I have been listening to a lot of Lou Reed and Velvet Underground lately.
What are you binge watching/reading?
I am binge watching Family Guy, and I have been reading a book about the music industry.
What else are you doing with these extra hours at home? Extra creative time?
I have done a lot of writing and I”ve recorded one song.
If you could Facetime/Zoom anyone in the world for an extended convo right now, who would it be?

It would definitely be Jack White. He is really what got me started playing guitar.

Favorite food you can make at home?

Lasagna. For sure.

Are you currently working on any new musical projects? If so, what?

Beach Bummer is currently working on an album called Daisy.
